Talent Acquisition Manager

The role

We are hiring aggressively and need to strengthen our internal recruitment team with a best-in-the-industry Talent Acquisition Manager. We are looking for a seasoned headhunter who can secure candidates for some of the most unique and challenging roles in the tech industry. This role is for you if you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy bold and ambitious projects, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Responsibilities

  1. 01

    Lead end-to-end recruitment for (primarily) technical roles (C++, Python, DevOps, Trading Ops, Quant)

  2. 02

    Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and sourcing strategies

  3. 03

    Build and own talent pipelines: headhunting, sourcing, events, referrals, and external agency coordination

  4. 04

    Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage offer negotiations and onboarding

  5. 05

    Improve recruiting operations: ATS processes, candidate experience, and hiring analytics dashboards

  6. 06

    Help shape a scalable recruiting infrastructure and playbook

  7. 07

    Represent Sparkland externally with professionalism and authenticity in a competitive market

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 01

    3–6 years of technical recruiting experience in tech companies; experience in HFT recruitment is a major plus

  2. 02

    Extreme ownership mindset: proactive, uncomfortable with inefficiencies, and eager to fix anything that hinders speed or quality

  3. 03

    Proven success in sourcing and closing technical talent, especially in low-latency and trading-related roles

  4. 04

    Strong stakeholder management skills with business and engineering leaders; able to disagree constructively and lead talent-related discussions with confidence

  5. 05

    Structured and detail-oriented

  6. 06

    Excellent communicator: clear, concise, and pragmatic

  7. 07
